THYME LINALOL DESCRIPTION AND USES:
Thyme linalol essential oil has the 'good' properties of thyme oil without the 'bad' (especially the skin irritating properties). Long known since ancient times as a medicinal herb, thyme essential oil has a warming effect which can be useful for easing joint pain, muscular aches and pains, and supporting the healing of sprains and sports injuries.
Thyme linalol has expectorant properties, and can help to relieve cough and congestion.
Traditional uses include: deodorant and antiseptic.
Safety Data:
Because this type of Thyme oil is linalol type it is safe for use on the skin & with children. Other varieties of Thyme oil can contain large amounts of thymol & carvacrol making them somewhat toxic, irritating to the mucous membranes & dermal (skin) irritants. While this type of Thyme may be used during pregnancy, the other type should be avoided! Use this type with caution when dealing with high Blood Pressure.
